An established Irish financial technology business, serving a global range of investment managers, is seeking an energetic, knowledgeable professional to join the team as a business development consultant. Innovation and entrepreneurship are at the heart of this organization’s culture. This role is an designed for an experienced professional in the investments industry who can combine their deep knowledge of the funds sector with a flair for networking and entrepreneurship. Understanding the workings of the sector from an operational standpoint, being well-versed in regulatory developments, and having a commercial mindset would be key strengths contributing to success in this position. Facing top-tier, global asset managers and fund administrators, the role entails acting with autonomy in creating and implementing a business development plan while working closely with internal operations and technology teams to deliver on key engagements.
You will:
- Develop new business with global investment managers, traveling to local offices where needed
- Negotiate pricing, contracts and SLAs
- Maintain relationships at all levels of the organization with management, technology, and operations teams
- Partner with management and drive innovation and new product development
Experience:
- 5+ years of diverse experience in the investments industry, with a demonstrable aptSouthitude for sales / relationship management
- Deep knowledge of investment management sector, regulatory developments, industry trends
- Exposure to financial data and reporting technology
Starting salary from €50,000 plus bonus, commission, benefits package
