Job Description: 

The Affinity Lines Account Executive will share the management of an existing book of business including advising clients, inviting & securing renewals, as well as processing midterm alterations. Client inquiries for additional covers are handled within the team too. The account executive will support the Affinity Lines varied client base in the Construction, Childcare and Education sectors.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Renewals
    • Ensuring renewals are invited in line with agreed protocols and procedures
    • Rebroking of certain risks where required
    • Binding cover & issuing policy documentation
    • Invoicing & premium collection including processing premium finance agreements
  • Mid Term adjustments
    • Obtaining & offering quotations for mid-term adjustments
    • Invoicing & premium collection
    • Binding cover & issuing of policy documentation
  • New Business
    • Obtaining quotations for additional covers for existing clients
    • Invoicing & premium collection
    • Binding cover & issuing of policy documentation
  • Contributing to the achievement of the team’s monthly retention targets
  • Participating in any upsell/cross-sell targets & campaigns set out for the team
  • Ensuring team & company processes are followed in all matters
  • Full compliance with all management audit requirements
  • Participation in knowledge sharing with other team members
  • Proving technical support on Affinity Products to colleagues across the business
  • Seek out/look for ways to improve the performance of the team


  • APA minimum acceptable however CIP preferable
  • 2-3  years’ experience in the insurance industry – commercial experience preferable
  • Commitment to their own professional development
  • Comply with the Central Bank’s Minimum Competency Requirements
