A firm that is at the forefront of both corporate, commercial banking and transaction service banking is looking for a data governance administrator to support the data governance framework across the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to gain experience and develop within a globally renowned corporation. The chosen candidate will be at the forefront of driving the implementation of a data within the organisation and work with key decision makers.

 

The person

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to capture data quality improvements
  • Good experience in desktop analytical and formatting skills including excel, basic SQL, Basic VBA or other scripting language
  • An understanding of Data Governance best practice in industry
  • An understanding of Data Architecture, Metadata, Lifecycles and Logical Data Modelling practices
  • 2-4 years’ experience working within an operational or technology data role
  • Ability to understand and produce moderately complex data flows

Skills

  • An understanding and/or prior hands-on experience of a data quality or metadata tooling environment an advantage
  • IT systems documentation and involvement on IT systems project from the operational/business aspect
  • An understanding of Regulatory and Compliance requirements and GDPR
  • Strong business analysis skills

Salary

€40,000 plus full benefits package
