Finance Manager - Accounting Advisory

Engage People Recruitment is delighted to partner with a leading financial services firm in the Irish market. We are looking for an experienced accountant to join an expanding finance function in the heart of Dublin City (but with hybrid working as standard).

What's the role?

You will be a manager in a central finance function, tasked with the implementation and management of a number of accounting policies and methodologies across the group.

This isn't a job for someone who is happy to do month-end accounting. There is little day-to-day accounting activity here; you will be the point of contact for policy and/or complex accounting queries for the group.

No two days will look the same in this role: you could be managing communication with a number of key senior stakeholders across the function on one day, followed by representing the finance function at group-wide meetings the next day.

This is a high-profile role across the group with a clear path for progression.

Does this sound like you?

5+ years of Irish accounting experience in Big 4 or a large PLC.

A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to influence leadership at all levels

The ability to commute to Dublin 2 at least twice per week
