Engage People Recruitment is delighted to partner with a boutique tax advisory firm and we are looking for a strong, experienced Tax Director to provide expert guidance on all tax-related matters.

Role Overview: As the Tax Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing tax strategy for our clients, ensuring compliance with regulations while optimising the client's tax position. Your responsibilities will include overseeing all aspects of tax planning, advising on tax implications of business decisions, and in some cases, managing tax reporting and compliance for our clients in an advisory capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement tax strategies in alignment with business objectives
• Provide expert advice on tax implications for various business activities and transactions
• Keep abreast of changes in tax legislation and proactively advise on potential impacts

Requirements:

• Fully qualified accountant with the CTA (Chartered Tax Adviser) qualification
• 5+ years of comprehensive experience in general tax, preferably within an advisory environment
• In-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements. International tax experience will be a distinct advantage.
• Proven ability to develop and execute effective tax strategies
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
