Location: Dublin (Hybrid)

Salary: Up to EUR 70K plus benefits

Are you a meticulous and fully qualified accountant with expertise in financial accounting and a strong understanding of Irish Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)? Engage People Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Financial Accountant to join the finance team of one of our key clients, a vibrant corporate services firm.

Role Overview: As a Financial Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with Irish GAAP and IFRS. Your responsibilities will involve financial reporting, analysis, and contributing to the smooth functioning of our finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day financial accounting activities, including preparation and analysis of financial statements
• Ensure compliance with Irish GAAP and other regulatory requirements in financial reporting
• Conduct regular audits of financial data to maintain accuracy and integrity
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses

Requirements:

• Fully qualified accountant with a strong understanding of Irish GAAP. US GAAP would also be an advantage.
• Experience in financial accounting within a corporate services firm or a similar environment
• Proficiency in financial reporting software and MS Excel
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
