Procurement Officer

A leading Irish sports organisation is growing and looking to hire a Procurement Officer.

As a Procurement Officer, you will be critical in managing procurement processes, working across various categories such as HR, Professional Services, Marketing and Team Operations. You will collaborate closely with multiple departments, ensuring value for money, compliance, and best practices while identifying opportunities for cost savings and procurement efficiencies.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about procurement to make a meaningful impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's operations, working within a fast-paced and supportive environment.

The role will initially be offered on an 18-month contract.

You will:

• Lead end-to-end competitive procurement processes in collaboration with various business units.
• Contribute to strategic procurement planning, aligning with the needs of key departments and developing procurement KPIs.
• Manage new supplier onboarding, contract performance management, and establish effective SLAs and KPIs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Support supplier negotiations and selection processes to ensure optimal outcomes.

Experience:

• Proven experience in a procurement role
• A relevant degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, both internally and externally
• Familiarity with procurement industry standards and policies

Salary:

A strong base salary and package including a pension.
