Senior Financial Accountant

An established and also fast-growing business in the Construction/Engineering space is looking to hire a Senior Financial Accountant.

The company has seen massive success in recent years and with ambitious growth plans on the cards, there is a need to grow the finance team.

This role will report directly to the Finance Director with a clear career trajectory.

You will:

• Conducting variance analysis and identifying trends in discussion with key stakeholders
• Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion
• Compile and review periodic management accounts and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards and quality information
• Review and supervise reconciliations of general ledger accounts
• Mentor, supervise and develop junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support

Experience:

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• 4+ years PQE
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, financial modelling, and experience with Power BI
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
