Financial Accountant- Major Retailer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with one of the leading retailers in the country as they look to hire a Financial Accountant.

As Financial Accountant, you will report directly to the FC and be responsible for the group's financial reporting requirement.

This role is ideally suited to a practice-trained accountant with industry experience an advantage.

You will:

• Planning, completing and reviewing periodic group financial reporting requirements
• Forecasting cash and working capital requirements
• Reviewing balance sheet and key financial controls
• Checking balance sheet reconciliations and assessing new business initiatives
• Monitoring key performance indicators and identifying opportunities to improve processes
• Leading and coaching the team

Experience:

• Qualified Accountant, preferably from a Big 4 background
• Relevant post-qualification experience
• Proven track record of working to tight deadlines
• Working experience with Oracle and Hyperion financial systems

Salary:

A strong base salary and full package are attached.
