Payroll Specialist

As a Payroll Specialist, your primary responsibility is to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for a large workforce, while complying with all relevant regulations and providing support to employees and managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and compliant weekly payroll processing for over 1,000 employees.
  • Update payroll records for new hires and departing employees during onboarding and offboarding.
  • Implement rate adjustments for weekly-paid employees in a timely manner.
  • Respond promptly to payroll-related inquiries via the payroll inbox.
  • Collaborate with HR to manage payroll adjustments for sick leave, maternity leave, and other changes.
  • Verify timesheet accuracy and resolve employee payroll queries.
  • Maintain up-to-date payroll records and efficiently address discrepancies.

Required Experience:

  • Over 4 years of payroll processing experience in a large organisation.
  • Expertise in payroll systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Skilled in administering employee benefits, including pensions and health insurance.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve payroll discrepancies and collaborate with HR and managers.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting payroll data.
  • Committed to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.
