Management Accountant

An opportunity has arisen in Dublin for an accountant with management accounts experience. This opportunity offers hybrid working, pension, and some other nice perks!

Your Responsibilities:

• Analyse monthly financial performance and trends across business units to provide actionable insights, supporting budget holders in making informed decisions, with a focus on cost control and identifying improvement opportunities
• Assist the Senior Finance Manager in preparing monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary, to provide a clear view of the organisation's financial performance
• Update and refine financial reports from the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution to budget holders via SharePoint, enabling their understanding of financial variances
• Collaborate with management on new projects and initiatives with financial implications, offering support as directed by the Senior Finance Manager
• Contribute to financial planning processes such as annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and business modelling, working closely with Directors to ensure alignment with organisational strategy
• Work with Finance and operational teams to identify improvements in financial reporting and provide financial insights in project groups as required

Your Requirements:

• A degree in Accounting or Finance
• Advanced IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and Power BI
• Experience in financial modelling, forecasting, and business planning
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal and written communication, report writing, and presenting
• Excellent analytical and statistical abilities, with a proven track record of working with complex data and delivering insightful analysis on key trends
• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar accounting platforms, as well as integrated financial systems
