Insurance Operations Specialist with Finnish

About the role:
Our client is seeking an experienced individual to join their friendly and professional customer-facing team in Dublin. This team is dedicated to servicing a wide policyholder base in Finland. You will be part of a highly customer-oriented team responsible for all aspects of life policy administration, including new business input, investment administration, and claims processing. As an Insurance Operations Specialist, you will deliver excellent customer care to clients predominantly from the Finnish market and contribute to a learning culture by sharing your knowledge with colleagues.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Processing new applications, existing business claims, and policy alterations.
- Reviewing and responding to customer queries received in writing or by phone in an efficient and timely manner.
- Managing customer expectations and taking ownership of queries.
- Producing high-quality and accurate client documentation in a timely manner.
- Maintaining a professional approach to all duties and ensuring client confidentiality.
- Supporting team flexibility by assisting colleagues and other departments when workloads demand.
- Contributing to team and departmental productivity targets to achieve the agreed SLA and provide a high level of customer service.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in both Finnish and English.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role with a strong customer & team-focused mindset.
- Experience in financial services, particularly in insurance or investment.
- Strong attention to detail, with a self-driven and organized approach.
- Knowledge of Swedish is beneficial but not essential.
