Role Objective: Lead the day-to-day operations of the Life Completions unit, overseeing both new and pipeline business. This role is essential to meeting organizational goals in Life & Pensions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Life & Pensions unit, managing business pipelines and supporting pre-sale functions.
  • Train and guide new and existing staff members, implementing protocols and controls to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Completions Manager to meet life targets and manage team activities daily.
  • Maintain case management for a portion of the business pipeline and liaise with third-party firms.
  • Provide leadership updates on the Life Completions team, ensuring processes meet compliance standards.
  • Prioritize client interests, liaising with clients, providers, and other relevant parties throughout the process.
  • Resolve client queries and maintain high service standards across all client groups.
  • Work with compliance to ensure all business handled aligns with regulatory standards and protocols.
  • Process new business via industry online systems, keeping internal systems updated.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Knowledgeable in Financial Services with relevant qualifications (QFA or equivalent preferred).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure.
  • Professionalism, diplomacy, and dedication to exceptional customer service.
