Engage People are working with an established Distribution Group, that is looking to hire a General Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established business in West Dublin that has recently merged four smaller companies into one dynamic group. With a core focus on growth and business development, the company is poised for significant expansion, making it an ideal environment for a leader with a strategic mindset and a passion for scaling businesses.

They have a 5-10m turnover and have been in the market for over 70 years where they regularly work with well known Irish & international organisations.

About the Role:
As General Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the continued growth of this newly consolidated group. With an emphasis on business expansion, you'll have the chance to shape the future of the company while overseeing daily operations and maintaining strong financial oversight.

The role:

• Growth Strategy Development: Craft and execute strategies to expand current markets, identify new ones, and explore innovative product opportunities in Ireland and beyond.
• Leadership & Culture Building: Lead a dedicated team, fostering a collaborative and customer-focused culture, setting clear goals, and driving excellence.
• Client and Supplier Relationship Management: Strengthen key relationships to improve customer satisfaction and optimize supplier collaborations.

• Operational Efficiency: Oversee two sites, ensuring streamlined processes to enhance productivity and improve customer experience.

You will have:

• Previous GM or executive leadership experience for a similar-sized company.
• Ideally suited to an individual with a background and network in sports in Ireland.
• Track record in strategic planning, business development, and financial management with an organisation of similar size and scale.
• Manufacturing or Distribution experience is desirable.

Location: West Dublin

Package: Six-figure package plus pension and car allowance.
