Overview
Our client, a leading tax advisory firm, is seeking a Tax Trainee to join their team as part of a 4-year structured training programme. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to gain hands-on experience across a range of tax areas while completing the Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualification.

The Role
As a Tax Trainee, you will begin with tax compliance work and progress to handling more complex assignments, including consultancy projects, as your expertise develops. You will engage directly with clients, government bodies, and other professionals, building a solid foundation for a career in tax.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage tax compliance tasks across multiple tax areas.
• Support in developing bespoke tax consultancy solutions for clients.
• Conduct tax research and collaborate with senior professionals on technical issues.
• Interact directly with clients, government agencies, and other firms to resolve tax matters.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds or is expecting a 2.1 honours degree, ideally in business or law (taxation coursework is an advantage).
• Demonstrates strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Has excellent organizational abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Shows an aptitude for numeracy and financial interpretation.
• Stamp 4/ EU PASSPORT
