A well-known Irish business based in South Dublin is looking to hire a Financial Controller.

The Financial Controller will play a critical role in shaping their financial strategy while ensuring seamless day-to-day financial management.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and strategic leader to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced and evolving industry.

The role is on offer for a 4-day working week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the company's financial planning, forecasting, and growth initiatives to support our ambitious goals.
  • Prepare and present detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to the Directors, providing actionable insights to guide decision-making.
  • Manage all accounting functions, including ledgers, invoicing, payroll, and tax compliance, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
  • Oversee company funds, develop budgets, and maintain robust cash flow management practices to ensure financial stability.
  • Implement and enhance financial systems, processes, and controls to drive efficiency and best practices across the organisation.

Skills and Experience:

  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA or ACCA,) is essential.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a broad finance role, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and management skills.
  • Experience in financial strategy development and implementation.
