Financial Controller - Fast Growing Co

A growing Irish business with over 22,000 residential and commercial customers across Ireland and a legacy spanning over 40 years, is looking to hire a Financial Controller.

The role of the Financial Controller (FC) is to lead the finance function and contribute to strategic decision-making. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the FC will play a key role in providing accurate financial insights and ensuring operational excellence. This is a hands-on position that requires collaboration across the business.

This could be a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Manager looking to step up into an FC role.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reporting packs within agreed timelines.
• Deliver regular financial snapshots to management and prepare Board Packs.
• Prepare company budgets and conduct financial modelling, including scenario analysis.
• Develop and maintain forecasts.
• Integrate and automate financial processes using CRM and finance systems.
• Lead and develop the finance team.
• Provide internal training on financial procedures.

Essential Criteria:

• Professional accounting qualification ACA, ACCA, CIMA
• At least 5 years of post-qualification experience.
• Excellent IT, organisational, and communication skills.
