Finance Business Partner

An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Business Partner to join a leading law firm in Dublin.

About the Role

As a Finance Business Partner, you will provide real-time financial analysis, insight, and support to leadership, helping to drive financial performance. Working closely with both Business Services and Practice Groups, this role combines financial management, decision-making, and commercial advisory responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reports with analysis, trends, and actionable insights.
• Develop annual and semi-annual financial plans, challenging assumptions and goals.
• Present financial updates at team and leadership meetings.
• Monitor and improve performance metrics such as WIP, billing, and collections.
• Implement and enhance financial processes and controls.
• Build strong relationships across the business to provide financial training and support.
• Support month-end billing processes and manage operational issues.

Skills & Expertise Required

• Relevant qualification (ACA/ACCA preferred) with 2-3 years' experience in professional services.
• Strong analytical, technical, and accounting skills.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency with systems such as Thomson Reuters 3E and Iridium BI (advantageous).
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
