Senior Client Manager

Our client is looking for a Senior Client Manager to join their dynamic and growing team based in Dublin City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a leading role in delivering top-tier financial and compliance services to an international portfolio of clients.

As a key member of the finance team, you will oversee a diverse range of responsibilities, including managing client relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality financial reporting. This role also includes mentoring and leading a team of skilled professionals to achieve exceptional results.

Your Role
As Senior Client Manager, you will:

  • Lead and manage a team of accountants to ensure the delivery of financial accounting, reporting, and compliance services for a variety of client companies.
  • Oversee the client onboarding process, establishing robust service delivery frameworks.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing their needs, ensuring compliance deadlines are met, and addressing ad-hoc requests.
  • Supervise the preparation and review of interim management accounts, financial statements, and statutory reports.
  • Manage processes related to payroll, VAT, corporation tax, and other tax compliance obligations.
  • Oversee liquidity, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions for client companies.
  • Provide mentorship and training to team members, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Take on board-level responsibilities for client companies, including attending and coordinating board meetings and working closely with company secretaries and external stakeholders.

Your Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have:

  • A professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, or CIMA) with 3+ years of post-qualification experience.
  • Expertise across financial reporting, compliance, and month-end close processes.
  • Proven experience in team management and leadership.
  • A degree with a minimum of a 2.2 honours or equivalent qualification.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
