Financial Accountant - Ennis (Hybrid, 2 Days Onsite)

Our client is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to provide financial and compliance services to a diverse portfolio of clients in the financial services sector.

As a Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in reporting, compliance, and client relationship management while working in a collaborative environment. This role is based in Ennis, with hybrid working (2 days onsite).

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare management accounts on a monthly or quarterly basis.
• Draft statutory and consolidated financial statements.
• Oversee the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring tailored service frameworks.
• Manage audit packs and support external audits.
• Handle payroll processing, VAT, PAYE/PRSI, and corporation tax returns.
• Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable for client companies.
• Liaise with clients to meet reporting deadlines and address queries.
• Mentor and train junior team members.

What You'll Need

• A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, or CIMA).
• Strong knowledge of Irish GAAP and IFRS (US GAAP is a plus).
• A degree with at least a 2.2 honours or equivalent.
• Experience in a finance department within a commercial organisation (preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills for handling large datasets.
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to work independently.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise effectively.
