Senior Manager - Insurance

We are partnering with an expanding insurance brokerage based in Ireland, which operates within a larger international insurance group. The company specialises in providing tailored insurance solutions and is entering an exciting new phase of growth across European markets for which Ireland will be a key regional centre.

The Role:

As a Senior Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's business strategy, driving growth, and ensuring regulatory excellence. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the company's expansion in Ireland and across Europe while leading key areas of compliance, governance, and commercial strategy.

A key deliverable will be ensuring the Irish entity is well run, leveraging the significant resources from the parent company to deliver Operational, Financial, and Strategic excellence. The Irish team is small right now so the role will initially be fully remote but with significant growth planned, some office presence will likely be required in the future.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with the Board to set and deliver business growth targets

• Managing relationships with regulatory bodies

• Overseeing the company's financial performance and governance processes

• Developing and implementing marketing and business development strategies

• Monitoring third-party outsourcing agreements to ensure performance and compliance

The Person:

We are looking for an experienced professional with:

• A relevant professional qualification (APA, CIP, QFA or equivalent)

• An understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks

• Proven leadership and commercial skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

• A strategic mindset with a hands-on approach

• Prior experience within an insurance brokerage or financial services environment is desirable

What We Offer:

• Salary: €65,000 to €75,000 plus benefits.

• Initially fully remote, later moving to a hybrid model.
