Finance Operations Lead

A hugely successful construction business is expanding its finance team due to the growth of the overall company.

As they expand here and across Europe, they are looking for a Finance Operations Lead to join them.

The Finance Operations Lead will support the Finance Manager, the payroll administrator, and the larger Finance Team. This role requires experience in a similar role 3+ years, the ability to work within deadlines and a strong attention to detail.

The company is based in South Dublin and offers hybrid working.

You will:

• Review, preparation and filing of VAT returns for all entities in the group.
• Support to the payroll function, including monthly processing of payrolls
• Liaise with the HR department to ensure the smooth operation of the payroll function
• General ledger reconciliations for all payroll/pension-related accounts
• Provide support to the company expenses process. Ensuring claims are in line with company policy and regulatory guidelines
• Management of the company staff costing system

Experience:

• 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role
• Familiarity with Irish and UK VAT
• An understanding of regulations relating to payroll and other payments to employees and contractors
• Strong Excel skills. A knowledge of payroll systems
