Job Title: Insurance Broker
A leading insurance brokerage firm in Dublin, is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Director to join their dynamic team. With a strong reputation for delivering exceptional service and building valued relationships with clients and insurers, they are looking for a seasoned professional who can independently manage a corporate portfolio while driving new business growth.
Position Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding a corporate portfolio, providing expert advice on general insurance within the corporate sector, and ensuring clients comprehend the terms and scope of their coverage in line with industry regulations. A strong emphasis will be placed on business development, with the expectation to generate new opportunities and contribute to the firm's overall growth.
Key Responsibilities:
· Client Advisory: Provide comprehensive advice on all facets of general insurance in the corporate sector, ensuring clients understand the terms and scope of coverage in accordance with industry regulations.
· Policy Management: Gather and assess client information to determine their insurance needs and risk profiles. Anticipate clients' insurance requirements, including policy renewals and amendments.
· Negotiation and Placement: Negotiate terms and place business with underwriters to secure the most suitable insurance solutions for clients at competitive prices.
· Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities by leveraging existing networks, referrals, and industry connections. Engage in proactive outreach to potential clients and present tailored insurance solutions.
· Customer Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional customer service to existing clients while actively seeking opportunities to acquire new clients.
· Relationship Development: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key insurance contacts, underwriters, relationship managers, and claims contacts.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Industry Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on corporate clients.
· Client Engagement: Proven client-facing and advisory experience, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including confident telephone acumen.
· Business Development Expertise: Demonstrated ability to generate new business, identify opportunities, and close deals in a competitive insurance market.
· Professional Attributes: Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and solution-focused individual who can work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the company's ongoing growth.
· Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms.
· Customer Relationship Management: Aptitude for interacting and building customer relationships, comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
