Financial Controller

A financial controller is required for a financial services company, on a fully remote basis.

Responsibilities of Financial Controller:

· Work closely with senior leadership.

· Develop and oversee strong internal revenue control processes.

· Lead budgeting and forecasting, preparing departmental budgets and monitoring performance.

· Provide detailed financial reporting, including margin analysis and key performance indicators.

· Engage with banks and financial institutions.

· Identify and implement system improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs.

· Oversee accurate revenue and cost reporting, including bank and cash reconciliations.

· Manage daily finance operations, ensuring timely and precise financial reporting.

Requirements of Financial Controller:

· Minimum three years of relevant experience.

· Accountancy qualification or equivalent industry expertise.

· Proven ability to take initiative and lead in a small team environment.

· Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Proficiency in Xero, Sage, and Excel.
