Data Sourcing & Control Analyst
Dublin, Ireland - Hybrid (after probation)

Looking to take the next step in your career with a company that values collaboration, learning and work-life balance? We're working with a highly regarded life assurance provider based in Dublin, who are looking to bring a new Data Sourcing & Control Analyst into their growing team.

This role sits within a small and close-knit back office function that plays a big part in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. You'll be working with investment data, valuations and regulatory reporting, ensuring everything is delivered accurately and on time across multiple product lines and markets.

What you'll be doing:

  • Handling the daily sourcing and processing of asset prices and valuations from various data providers and custodians

  • Reviewing and validating policy valuations to ensure the accuracy of all data

  • Running and enhancing daily control checks to catch any issues early

  • Applying rebates to policyholder funds

  • Categorising assets in line with internal guidelines and regulations

  • Monitoring for stale pricing and making sure policy is followed

  • Conducting asset sanction screening and escalating any red flags

  • Collaborating with internal teams to support a high standard of customer service

  • Pitching in with the wider team where needed - flexibility is key here

What we're looking for:

  • A degree in Finance, Business, Economics or similar

  • 2+ years' experience in financial services or international life insurance

  • Solid knowledge of investments - experience in pricing, fund accounting or valuations would be ideal

  • Strong Excel skills and a high level of numeracy

  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and deadlines

  • Great team player with good communication skills

  • Able to work independently and juggle competing priorities

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

  • Third level degree in a Financial or Business related course
  • A minimum of 2 year's experience in Financial Services or an International Life Assurance company
  • Experience working in Fund Accounting & or Pricing/Valuations with knowledge of Investments
  • Advanced level competency in MS excel
