Are you an experienced corporate banker with a passion for client relationships, transaction execution, and cross-border collaboration? A leading international financial institution is looking to hire a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager (VP level) to join its Frankfurt-based team covering large-cap corporate clients across Continental Europe.

The Opportunity
Working as part of a high-performing, multi-sector coverage team, you'll play a key role in deepening relationships with strategic clients, originating new business opportunities, and executing complex transactions. This is a highly visible position with regular engagement with senior bankers, product partners, and executive-level decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior bankers to drive client engagement, deal origination, and relationship coverage across a broad portfolio of European large-cap corporates.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client needs and offer tailored financial solutions by leveraging a full suite of corporate and investment banking products.
  • Lead client presentations, prepare marketing materials, and oversee transaction approvals and onboarding processes.
  • Manage the end-to-end execution of transactions while mentoring and coordinating junior team members.
  • Build and maintain detailed client account plans, while staying informed on industry developments and emerging risks.
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory and internal risk frameworks, maintaining a robust control environment at all times.

About You

  • Significant experience in corporate and investment banking relationship management, with a strong record in deal origination and execution.
  • Commercial mindset with strong analytical, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with senior stakeholders.
  • Fluent in both English and German; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Personal integrity, accountability, and a commitment to excellence are a must.
