Account Executive - Commercial Lines

Location: Skerries (2 days) / Swords (3 days) | Hybrid | Full-time, Permanent

Join a Growing Brokerage at Our Newly Acquired Skerries Office!

We're currently seeking an experienced and driven Account Executive to join our Commercial Lines team. This role is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of an existing book of business while driving new client acquisition, all within a supportive and growing brokerage environment.

Based part-time at our newly acquired Skerries office and part-time in our Swords location, this hybrid working role offers a blend of autonomy, flexibility, and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and retain a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring timely renewals and outstanding client service.
• Proactively identify and win new business opportunities to expand your book.
• Advise clients on suitable insurance products based on thorough risk assessments and individual business needs.
• Negotiate terms with insurers to secure optimal cover for clients.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with internal teams to support operational excellence and promote service improvements.
• Attend client visits as required to maintain and develop long-term relationships.

Must-Haves:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a commercial insurance role within a brokerage setting.
• CIP qualified - this is a requirement for the role.
• Proven ability to independently manage and grow a book of business.
• Excellent working knowledge of commercial insurance products and underwriting practices.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
• A full clean driving licence and willingness to travel between Skerries and Swords.
