An industry-leading global organisation in the pharmaceutical sector is seeking an experienced Director, Group Accounting & Reporting to join its dynamic finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key leadership role in a well-established multinational company.

As Director, you will be a crucial part of the finance function, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IFRS while leading financial reporting processes. This position involves working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, providing technical accounting guidance, and supporting strategic financial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of group annual reports under US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Manage quarterly financial reporting obligations for stock exchange submissions.
  • Prepare monthly consolidated management reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Provide expert accounting and regulatory guidance on key financial matters.
  • Assess and implement changes due to new accounting standards or regulations.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence.

Experience:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified professional
  • Strong technical expertise in US GAAP and IFRS financial reporting is important
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in a multinational corporate finance function.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle would be advantageous).
