Looking for a senior finance role where you can truly make an impact? I'm working with a well-established Irish company, turning over more than €600 million, to find a Financial Controller ready to step into a high-profile, commercially focused role.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working at pace, partnering with senior leaders, and using financial insight to help shape business strategy. You'll play a key role in driving performance, combining strong technical know-how with a real commercial edge.
As Financial Controller, you'll take the lead on group-level reporting, commercial planning, and financial control across a multi-entity organisation. You'll work closely with the CFO and senior stakeholders, helping to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
You will:
Take ownership of cash flow forecasting, cash planning, and treasury oversight to ensure financial stability and agility
Partner with leadership to manage transfer pricing, ensuring appropriate profitability by entity and compliance with group agreements
Lead group consolidation and the production of monthly management accounts and performance analysis to enable strategic business decisions
Deliver accurate and timely internal and external financial reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and statutory obligations
Provide commercial insight across the business, supporting contract reviews, forecasting, and project performance analysis
Experience:
Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with a strong technical and commercial background
Minimum 10 years' experience in financial management roles, ideally with exposure to the construction or related sectors
Proven ability to deliver accurate financial reporting, manage audit and tax processes, and oversee cash and treasury management
