A leading international engineering and construction organisation is seeking an experienced Head of RP&A (Reporting, Planning & Analysis) to join its finance team on an 8-month contract.

With operations spanning the globe, the business delivers innovative, multi-disciplinary infrastructure solutions across various sectors.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills, and advanced expertise in Power BI and financial presentation development.

The role will initially be offered on an 8-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end RP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and variance analysis.

  • Design and develop insightful, interactive dashboards and financial reports using Power BI to support

  • strategic decision-making.

  • Partner with the Finance Director and senior leadership to prepare high-impact financial presentations, including board packs, business reviews, and investor communications.

  • Identify and communicate key financial trends, performance risks, and opportunities across the organisation.

  • Drive continuous improvement in RP&A processes, systems, and data quality.

Key Requirements:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).

  • Proven track record in a senior FP&A/RP&A role within a fast-paced, complex business environment.

  • Expert-level skills in Power BI, capable of building scalable dashboards and delivering data-driven insights.

  • Strong experience in preparing executive-level financial presentations and communicating complex financial information with clarity.
