The Opportunity

Are you a people-focused HR professional who thrives on variety and impact?


This is an exciting 6-month contract to take a leading role in supporting the community-focused Financial Services firms across Ireland and Northern Ireland. You'll provide practical, trusted advice to help local lenders manage people challenges confidently, from employee relations to organisational change.

You'll play a key part in strengthening HR capability across the sector, developing tools, policies, and initiatives that make a real difference to workplaces built on trust, purpose, and community.

The Role

As HR Business Partner, you will:

  • Act as a key point of contact for HR and employment relations queries, providing clear and pragmatic guidance.

  • Support lenders in managing cases across disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence matters.

  • Maintain and update model HR policies, templates, and guidance for both ROI and NI jurisdictions.

  • Deliver engaging webinars, training sessions, and HR networking events that foster best practices.

  • Draft concise updates on employment legislation and its practical impact for Financial Services providers.

  • Build strong relationships across the sector and with relevant professional bodies.

  • Contribute to wider projects and collaborations that enhance HR and compliance.

About You

You are an experienced HR professional who combines sound technical knowledge with excellent judgement, communication, and influencing skills.

You'll bring:

  • CIPD qualification (or equivalent).

  • Experience in HR/ER.

  • Understanding of ROI employment law, and working knowledge of NI legislation.

  • Experience handling sensitive employee relations cases.

  • Confidence in presenting and delivering training to HR and non-HR audiences.
