HR Manager
Location: Dublin with travel to Cork & Limerick
Salary: €60,000-€70,000 + Pension, Health, Death in Service
Schedule: 8:00am-4:30pm, hybrid (1 day WFH)
A growing group of fire protection and life-safety businesses operating across Ireland is seeking a hands-on HR Manager to support its continued integration and expansion. The organisation has active operations in:
Dublin - Serving as the primary operational hub
Cork - Supporting expanded services and training
Limerick/Munster Region & Galway - Providing strong regional coverage
The group is currently moving through an exciting phase of organisational alignment, with multiple business entities integrating under one unified operational structure. We are now looking for a proactive HR Manager to join us at this pivotal stage.
The Role
The HR Manager will take ownership of all HR operations across the organisation's Irish sites, acting as a visible, on-the-ground partner to management and employees. This role is ideal for an ambitious HR professional with SME experience who values autonomy, travel, and the opportunity to build HR foundations within a scaling organisation.
The role is primarily based in the Dublin (Tallaght) office, with regular travel to Cork and Limerick.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day HR operations across multiple business units
Support the integration of group companies and the alignment of HR practices
Advise and coach managers on employee relations, performance, and compliance
Manage recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning for Ireland-based teams
Oversee HR policies, contracts, and documentation in line with Irish employment law
Prepare and support the implementation of a new HRIS system across multiple sites
Drive employee engagement, culture initiatives, and internal communication
Collaborate with the in-house payroll function to ensure accurate and timely processing
Lead HR reporting, workforce data management, and audit preparation
Travel regularly to Cork and Limerick (mileage covered; potential company car in future)
About You
3-4+ years' HR experience, ideally within an SME or multi-site environment
Strong working knowledge of Irish employment law
Experience in organisational integration or business consolidation is a strong advantage
Confident being visible on-site and building relationships with diverse teams
Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently
Resilient, adaptable, and motivated to grow within a scaling organisation
Full clean driver's licence required
