A leading Irish property and construction group is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join its growing finance function. This is a key role within the organisation, offering exposure to senior leadership, Board-level reporting, and group-wide financial operations.

The successful candidate will play a central role in ensuring high-quality financial reporting, strengthening financial controls, and providing commercial insight to support strategic decision-making across the Group.

Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will have responsibility for month-end entity reporting, consolidated accounts, and Board-level reporting, while contributing to the day-to-day financial management of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly and year-to-date financial reporting, including management accounts and consolidated Board reporting.

  • Deliver high-quality financial reports to senior management, shareholders, and external funding providers.

  • Provide commercial and financial insights to support strategic decision-making and business growth.

  • Lead and mentor a Financial Accountant, supporting development and performance.

  • Work collaboratively with other Finance Managers and the Accounts Payable function as part of a cohesive finance team.

  • Participate in cross-functional projects, providing financial expertise to support strategic initiatives and business development.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Professionally qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with 3-5 years' post-qualification experience.

  • Strong knowledge of Irish financial reporting and tax frameworks.

  • Proven experience in financial management, ideally within construction, property, or real estate.

  • Experience managing or mentoring team members in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex financial information.
