Join the Member Services Team and become part of a leading financial services provider on the West Coat. The Member Services Officer plays an essential role in delivering prompt, professional, and member-centric support. This role is key to maintaining strong member relationships and contributing to the smooth operation of the member services team.

The Role: what does the job involve?:

  • Act as a point of contact for members while building good relationships and strong rapport.
  • Respond to all member-related enquiries across multiple channels, including in-branch, phone, email, online platforms, and social media.
  • Assess personal loan applications (e.g. car loans, home improvement, education) by reviewing member documentation, affordability, and credit history.
  • Ensure all loan documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in converting initial member enquiries into complete and accurate loan applications, ready for assessment.
  • Maintain fast and efficient loan processing times while upholding a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Contribute to a strong, member-focused lending service by actively participating in team discussions, process improvements, and service initiatives.

The Candidate:

  • A minimum of an APA (Accredited Product Advisor) is required; QFA (Qualified Financial Advisor) qualification is highly desirable.
  • 1-2 year's experience in the financial services industry, ideally within a financial institution, with a strong background in lending processes.
  • A third-level qualification is an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong member-first approach with a focus on delivering excellent service
  • Detail-oriented and well-organised.
  • Team player with great interpersonal skills.
  • Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Eager to learn and grow professionally.
