Are you an experienced Fund Accountant looking to step into a broad, high‑impact role? This opportunity offers exposure to complex global investment structures, cross‑functional collaboration, and the chance to influence process enhancement across a fast‑moving finance function. You'll play a key role in month‑end reporting, transactions, audit, and regulatory work.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review month‑end financial reporting, including incentive fee calculations and carry allocations.
- Review management accounts from external service providers and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Act as the primary accounting point of contact for new investments, advising on deal structure from an accounting perspective.
- Manage annual audit processes and deliver high‑quality audit packages and supporting analysis.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing quarterly and annual regulatory filings across multiple jurisdictions.
- Oversee cash reconciliations and maintain strong controls across positions, accruals, and journal entries.
- Support transactional initiatives including restructurings, corporate actions, re‑orgs, and special situations.
- Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies, escalating issues promptly.
- Contribute to automation, efficiency improvements, and integration of new tools (including AI).
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting with strong academic results.
- 4-5 years' experience in public accounting/auditing.
- ACA/ACCA/CPA qualification required.
- Exposure to private equity or hedge fund environments preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Advent Geneva or Alteryx is an advantage.
- Strong analytical mindset and exceptional attention to detail.
- Highly organised, able to manage deadlines and multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- A proactive, solutions‑focused team player committed to continuous improvement.
