Financial Accountant
Location: Dublin City Centre (Hybrid)

Company Overview
A rapidly growing, private equity-backed SaaS company headquartered in Dublin City Centre is seeking a high-calibre Financial Accountant to join its expanding finance team. The business operates across Ireland, the UK, and mainland Europe, delivering innovative software solutions to enterprise clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified accountant coming from a Top 10 practice firm who is looking to make their first move into industry within a fast-paced, commercially focused environment.
Role Overview
The Financial Accountant will play a key role in financial reporting, statutory compliance, and process improvement. Working closely with the Financial Controller and wider leadership team, the successful candidate will gain broad exposure across financial reporting, tax, audit, and commercial finance.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting reconciliations
Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close processes
Preparation of statutory financial statements under FRS 102
Liaising with external auditors and managing the year-end audit process
VAT, RCT, and corporation tax compliance in collaboration with external advisors
Revenue recognition review in line with IFRS 15
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
Support system and process improvement initiatives
Partner with operational teams to provide financial insight and analysis
Assist with ad hoc projects as the business continues to scale
Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience
ACA / ACCA qualified
1-3 years' post-qualified experience (PQE)
Trained in a Top 10 accounting firm
Strong technical accounting background
Experience preparing statutory accounts

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, scaling environment
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage non-finance stakeholders
