Our client is a well‑established life insurance provider based in Ireland, operating across multiple European markets. They specialise in insurance‑based investment products designed for clients with more complex financial and investment needs.
You'll work closely with experienced finance professionals and contribute to a wide range of operational activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily outgoing payments
- Support daily fiscal reporting across multiple jurisdictions
- Perform timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations
- Complete cash and custodial reconciliations
- Assist with quarterly and annual reporting cycles
- Monitor and action items within the finance mailbox
- Support month‑end processes
- Assist in preparing financial statements and annual audit documentation
- Build effective relationships with internal service teams to resolve queries
- Develop a strong understanding of finance processes in an international environment
- Carry out ad hoc duties as required
About You / Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a corporate finance environment
- Stamp4 visa or Irish/EU passport
- Strong Excel and general MS Office skills
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical capabilities
- High level of numeracy with strong problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong organisation and control skills
- Comfortable working to tight deadlines
- Fluent written and spoken English
