Fund Accountant - Global Multi-Strategy Investment Firm
Location: Dublin (Hybrid)

Their investment portfolio includes corporate investments, asset-backed and structured products, real estate, infrastructure, and other compelling idiosyncratic opportunities.
They are now seeking a Fund Accountant to join their Dublin team and play a key role in supporting investment transactions, fund structuring, and financial reporting across a diverse portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a key accounting contact for new investments, providing technical accounting insight and input into entity structures.
- Collaborate with Asset Management, Legal, and Tax teams on structuring discussions leveraging jurisdictional accounting expertise.
- Participate in internal deal and structuring calls, offering technical accounting analysis and recommendations.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing fund flow documentation for deal closings.
- Support transactional work including restructurings, corporate actions, and reorganizations.
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate service providers, monitor performance, and enhance processes internally and externally.
- Coordinate onboarding of new entities with external service providers.
- Review management accounts and quarterly reporting for accuracy and compliance with local accounting standards.
- Review annual IFRS financial statements and oversee the audit process in conjunction with service providers and auditors.
- Identify discrepancies in accounting records and drive resolution through clear communication.
- Participate in strategic projects focused on process improvement, automation, and AI integration.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 4-6 years of experience in public accounting or auditing.
- CPA, ACA, or ACCA qualification is essential.
- Experience in Financial Services, Private Equity.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
- Excellent Excel skills; knowledge of Alteryx is a plus.
- Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and communicate effectively across teams.
