I am delighted to be working with a well-known construction company looking for a Financial Controller to join their senior leadership team and play a key role in driving business performance through strategic financial insight, commercial leadership, and robust financial governance.

This is a high-impact role with significant scope, ideal for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

As Financial Controller, you'll lead group-level reporting, commercial planning, and financial control activities across a multi-entity organisation. You'll be a trusted advisor to the CFO and senior stakeholders, translating complex financial data into clear business insight to inform decision-making.

You will:

  • Take ownership of cash flow forecasting, cash planning, and treasury oversight to ensure financial stability and agility

  • Partner with leadership to manage transfer pricing, ensuring appropriate profitability by entity and compliance with group agreements

  • Lead group consolidation and the production of monthly management accounts and performance analysis to enable strategic business decisions

  • Deliver accurate and timely internal and external financial reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and statutory obligations

  • Provide commercial insight across the business, supporting contract reviews, forecasting, and project performance analysis

Experience:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with a strong technical and commercial background

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in financial management roles, ideally with exposure to the construction or related sectors

  • Proven ability to deliver accurate financial reporting, manage audit and tax processes, and oversee cash and treasury management

Salary/Remuneration

Six-figure salary and package attached.
