A leading organisation in the renewable energy sector is seeking a highly experienced Head of Treasury & Capital Planning to join its senior finance team.

Based at the company's headquarters, this role is pivotal in shaping the financial strategies that support sustainable growth and the transition to clean energy.

This senior leadership position will manage the company's treasury operations and capital planning activities, ensuring the business maintains strong financial health while delivering on its strategic priorities. The role will focus particularly on structuring and funding large-scale renewable energy investments, including partnerships and joint ventures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the company's cash and liquidity management, ensuring optimal cash flow and working capital to meet operational and strategic requirements.

  • Build and maintain strong banking relationships, securing competitive financing and managing the negotiation of credit facilities and funding terms.

  • Oversee the design and implementation of the capital structure, balancing debt and equity to minimise the cost of capital and support long-term growth.

  • Lead the financial structuring of renewable energy initiatives, including project finance deals and strategic investment opportunities.

  • Monitor financial covenants and ensure accurate and timely compliance reporting for all lending arrangements and funding structures.

  • Develop strategies to manage and mitigate financial risks, including exposure to interest rates, foreign exchange, commodity prices, and energy market fluctuations.

About You:

  • Hold a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline.

  • At least 10 years of experience in treasury, capital markets, or corporate finance, with several years at a senior leadership level.

  • Strong background in the renewable energy sector, with hands-on experience in funding utility-scale or infrastructure projects.

  • Demonstrated success in structuring complex financial transactions and managing stakeholder relationships, including lenders and investors.

  • Exceptional analytical skills and experience with advanced financial modelling and scenario planning.
