Financial Controller - St Andrew's College, Dublin
About St Andrew's College
St Andrew's College is one of Dublin's leading independent schools, located in Blackrock. Known for its strong academic tradition, inclusive ethos, and vibrant community, the school is entering an exciting phase of development with a major campus redevelopment project underway.
The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to step into a Financial Controller role and help shape the future of a respected educational institution. You'll lead day-to-day finance operations while contributing to a transformative capital development and a high-impact fundraising campaign.
Education sector experience is welcome but not essential. This would suit a qualified accountant or experienced Finance Manager ready to step up into a broader leadership role within a values-driven, mission-led organisation.
Key Aspects of the Role
- Oversee financial operations, reporting, budgeting, and compliance
- Support the management of a large-scale campus redevelopment
- Help drive the school's fundraising strategy
- Deliver improvements in financial systems and operational efficiency
- Work closely with the College Principal, CFO, and Board on strategic planning
What You'll Need
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong financial leadership and project management experience
- Stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- A proactive mindset and passion for making an impact
An attractive salary and pension package, commensurate with experience and the seniority of the role.
