[Dublin, Ireland]: On February 25th, The Employment and Recruitment Federation (ERF) named Engage People the winner of Best Small Agency of the Year, at the rescheduled 2021 ERF awards, held at the Shelbourne Hotel. The award recognises companies that have contributed to the recruitment industry and have been a leader in its fields, whilst maintaining the highest performance and standards.

With employment and growth central to many Ireland-based businesses as well as the Irish economy as a whole, Engage People played a key role. Having placed over 170 people in small and mid-size enterprises (SMEs) throughout Ireland, Engage People facilitated these hires by ensuring all recruitment processes were as efficient as possible, especially throughout the Covid pandemic. Engage People enabled their Irish SME clients to grow significantly during this period, helping them compete with large multinationals for top talent, through identifying their client’s unique selling points, be it a flexible working model or high-performance culture. This has led to near 100% retention for many businesses in Ireland at a time when a great resignation is underway.

“Engage People have been a valuable partner in our growth story.” says Brendan Wood, Founder at AutoEntry.

Engage People’s success has resulted in their own team growing by 50% over the last year, with the company set to offer more direct employment opportunities as they continue to expand throughout 2022 and beyond.

“Our team at Engage People are thrilled to receive the award which caps off a super 2021 and offers a great boost for the year ahead. It was hard to foresee what impact C19 would have on the labour market in Ireland but slowly and surely we noticed great resilience with Irish companies. Many adapted their business activities which led to new and growing revenue streams and a demand for staff. To ensure we could deliver the right service in a virtual world we provided expert advice to our clients to enable them to attract and interview individuals for their hiring needs. The companies we work with tell us that our ability to get the right talent in front of them, despite competition from global companies, has a big impact on their success.” says Paul McClatchie, Director at Engage People.

Established in 2016, Engage People is a specialist Irish recruitment firm, connecting ambitious career orientated candidates and clients. They have deep expertise across three niche strands: Accountancy & Financial, Banking & International Financial Services and Insurance & Compliance.
