The Commercial Account Executive will play a key role in supporting the renewal portfolio, delivering excellent service to broker partners, and contributing to retention, rate increases, and cross-sell opportunities. This position requires strong attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to compliance and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Activity Management

  • Support the achievement of the Commercial Renewal Business budget.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to meet agreed retention and rate increase targets.
  • Contribute to upsell and cross-sell performance objectives.
  • Ensure all agreed processes and procedures are followed consistently.

Customer Service

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key broker partners.
  • Take ownership of delivering accurate, high-quality work.
  • Respond professionally and efficiently to enquiries from brokers, internal staff, and management.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build trusted working relationships with brokers by anticipating needs and meeting commitments.
  • Share information effectively and support strong communication across stakeholders.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Team Leader, Operations & Trading Director, and relevant team members.
  • Contribute to a team-focused environment ensuring broker needs are met.
  • Support the team in achieving monthly and annual performance targets.

Compliance & Professional Standards

  • Adhere to all audit and regulatory requirements.
  • Complete relevant insurance examinations within required timelines.
  • Maintain high-quality file records in line with prescribed standards.
